These are a few of my favourite things....

My very very favourite things we have done in class this year are many. But if I had to be trapped on an Island with these exercises One I would pickwould be Character arc-ing. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to find out who a character is by just taking apart the little things in his change from one point to another. Also, I loved story time; It was really nice to wind down from the ecstasy of lunch with a nice Grimm tale or anything else we would be speaking on that day. I liked having a lot of responsibility. The fact that we had to blog before Thursday morning and we didn't have a key word outline and we didn't have to check off dress ups on a checklist like babies was very empowering and made me feel like I was in a grown up class without a bunch of morons in it. Lastly, my favourite was actually writing the papers. The panic I felt when I hadn't done it until Monday and the accomplishment of finally getting it perfectly in my own opinion was beyond anything that I could have asked for by name. I'm really glad that we did these things in class this year. It really made Co-op bearable!

  1. Christy! I totally agree with you, I loved not having a million checklists to keep up with while writing our papers. The fact that we could "freestyle" them, in a way, worked out much better for me. I also loved story time as well!
