1. Read chapter 7 and annotate the stories (remember to read 3 times)
Free Tip- if you look for literary devices and techniques AS you read and MAKE NOTES OF THEM (otherwise known as annotating) you will find essay writing a million times easier.
2. Do ALL the work on pgs 86-87. Don't forget to read on after that work, the chapter isn't over! Also, one assignment requires you get a separate sheet of paper. Please get a separate sheet of paper. :)
Blog- Do a character description. This can be of someone you know, or someone you make up. Describe them. Read the chapter first- are they static, dynamic, stock, round/flat? And SHOW me through your descriptions what kind of character they are. For example, don't tell me she is a "stock grandmother" tell me she's a sweet old lady who bakes cookies every time you see her, standing in the kitchen with an apron.
You are not required to comment this week, but feel free to do so!
Don't forget to have your mom and/or dad sign and return the papers I handed out in class!
