Poems Poems Poems
Lines Written In Early Spring and "Let me not to the marriage of two minds..." were both polar opposites of each other, I enjoyed Lines Written in Early Spring, I had to read it multiple times but when I finally understood it I thought it was great. The Author described the setting so that I could visualize the place he was referring to. Shakespeare on the other hand, was a lot harder for me to comprehend. He was obviously a deep thinker, He thought so deep that I couldn't understand some of what he was saying. The two main lines that had me stuck were "Admit impediments. Love is not love" and " Or bends with remover to remove:". Over all though I think Shakespeare had a amazing perception on what love should be. Both poems were great but I think I liked Lines Written in Early Spring a slight bit better, based on the fact that it was easier to read and understand.

Tyler, I was stuck on those lines, too! "Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds, or bends with the remover to remove." At first, it looked like a garbled mess. But after a while it made sense. I think he's just trying to say that love is constant.
