Searcy the Striking Viking is married to Helga the Horrible and is controled by the orders of others. His wife is so horrible that the whole crew made her captain and put the poor lonely Scandinavian below decks. He sits all day either cooking or rowing and he hates it! He often dreams of the many ways which his wife would have an "accident". One day she might fall off the ship or maybe be shot in a crossfire. No matter what the sad striking viking wishes for, he is cursed to stay with the rats. When someone comes below decks and unlocks the doors just enough to get a bowl of soup, they can expect Searcy to throw anything within reach, for he holds quite a grudge. He grows pale in the small space that he will never call home but he will never loose his magnificent beard and fabulous mustache of which he is known for. In battle some enemies become blind by merely looking at his beard because of its radiant glow. He looks forward to the day when he gets his hands get on a sword that someone, who has ordered him around for so long, will leave just a little to close to his door.
Searcy the Striking Viking is round and dynamic because he is changed by the way he's treated.
This was my favourite.
